Queen Ethelburga's College
Queen Ethelburga's College was founded in 1912, and is now one of Britain's finest and best-known private boarding schools. The college is a beautiful country house and is set in an enclosed campus in grounds of more than 100 acres with extensive facilities, including sports fields, sports hall, swimming pool and internet cafe.

Accommodation
Accommodation is very well-equipped, with TV, telephone, and wash basin. Students share bedrooms with up to three others. There are comfortable common rooms on each floor with satellite TV and DVD players, where students can relax and talk about the day's events.

The City of York
The historic city of York is one of the most beautiful and interesting cities in Northern England, and is famous for the stunning cathedral, medieval city walls, and the narrow streets of the Shambles district. York is two hours by rail from London, Manchester and Edinburgh, and close to the beautiful Yorkshire countryside.
